Congratulations to the girls varsity volleyball team for defeating Woodland High School in the first round of playoffs last night! They will be traveling to East Clarendon High School this Monday for the second round. Good Luck ladies!

Last evening, the boys and girls cross country teams successfully defended their Region 6-2A championship by winning the Region meet in impressive fashion. Volleyball honors great teachers

This past Thursday, the Varsity and JV volleyball players honored important and influential teachers at their last regular season home match.  Each student-athlete was able to write something about their chosen teacher that was read while they walked together onto the court. We love our educators and what they do for our students every day!

All you can eat PANCAKES

On Saturday, during the FORD Drive to Give event, the PSH cheerleaders held an All-you-can-eat pancake breakfast and fundraiser to feed those participating.  The pancakes were great ladies!

The Ford Drive to Give event this past Saturday was a huge success, bringing many supportive fans, parents, and students to the school to drive a Ford vehicle for their sports programs.  For ever test drive, a $20 donation was made to a sports team of the driver’s choosing.  Thank you to everyone who came

Rock-stars of the Night

During the televised football game Friday night, our very own PSH cheerleaders received the Rock star cheer of the night recognition and it was well deserved. These ladies have been working hard this season to include all students in celebrating positive, sportsmanlike conduct on and off the field of play.  Thank you ladies!

The Importance of Athletic Trainers

Philip Simmons High School is grateful to have two amazing athletic trainers that work to keep our student athletes healthy and safe during practices and competitions.  Ms. Alli Kunze comes to us from West Virginia University and collaborates with Trident Tech Medical. Mr. Josh Michael comes to us from California this year and also coaches
